What’s to be expected when I arrive?


Please arrive 15 minutes early to check-in and get settled for class. Self Check-In stations are located inside the Studio and the Clubhouse where you can check your name off if you have already signed up for the class. Otherwise, see the instructor to get signed up. Shoes and socks can be removed at the door. Feel free to introduce yourself to the teacher, notifying them if you have any health or fitness restrictions. Pre-placed mats will define your space. If you choose to bring your own, simply place it on top.

I’m not flexible, can I still do Yoga?


Yoga is designed for everyone, flexible or not. You set your pace. Should a pose become uncomfortable or painful, our teachers are equipped to provide modifications to relieve any kind of discomfort. Yoga will help you become more flexible- the more you work on it, the easier it will become.

How is Yoga different from stretching?


When we stretch, whether it’s before a workout or getting out of bed, we tend to do so absentmindedly. However, practicing yoga is all about being aware of the present moment. Our instructors will guide your movements in coordination with breath, so with every inhale and exhale, you will be able to explore your body’s needs and dig deeper into your stretch. Not to forget, yoga also incorporates alignment, strength, and balance; all types of fitness that help us to become more rounded and grounded beings.

What should I wear?


Your comfort is priority. We suggest stretchy clothing, but nothing too loose fitting that will get in the way of perfecting your poses.

What should I bring?


We provide yoga mats, straps, blankets, and bolsters for you to use, however you are always welcome to bring your own. Please bring your own water bottle and an open mind!

How often should I practice Yoga?


Everyone benefits from yoga at different levels. For many, yoga is a daily practice, however we suggest setting a realistic goal for yourself and working towards it. We recommend 2-3 classes per week as a great goal for those just starting in yoga. Remaining consistent and dedicated to a class schedule will help keep you on track. The more you practice, the faster you will progress and the better you will feel.

What are the health benefits?


Yoga isn’t just a heath-fitness trend; the practice has been around for over 5,000 years (and for good reason). Stress commonly impacts our daily mental and physical health and can lead to ailments such as headaches, back pain, anxiety, and lack of concentration with even more concerning long term effects. When we take the time for ourselves to get nourished, replenished, and energized we are able to reverse these negative effects and bring joy back into our lives.
